For me, part-time employment served as a connection between these two realms, aiding in financial management and providing valuable insights into the UK market, particularly regarding marketing and customer experience. My initial and favorite position was as a MORA Content Creator within Imperial’s central marketing team. The experience of being compensated for creating content for a prestigious university was extraordinary and positively influenced my year.<\/p>\n

Becoming a MORA Content Creator<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Collaborating with the MORA team to produce content for over 700,000 followers across Imperial\u2019s social media platforms was a dream come true. It involved crafting narratives and sharing student experiences, learning about institutional communication, and grasping the tone and authenticity that connect with varied audiences.<\/p>\n

This position also led to unexpected chances, such as interviewing prominent figures like Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty. None of this would have been possible without accepting that first opportunity. The MORA team is supportive, nurturing, and encourages creative exploration. Finding a balance between work and study necessitates organization. I arranged shifts for weeks with lighter class loads. Your degree should take precedence, but a well-selected part-time job can enhance your studies. My marketing coursework felt significantly more relevant when linked to real-world roles.<\/p>\n

Throughout my Master\u2019s, I experimented with various roles such as a waiter, event manager, barista, and bartender. Each position imparted distinct lessons.
