For me, part-time employment acted as a connection between these two environments, enabling me to manage my finances and gain insights into the UK market, particularly in the realms of marketing and customer experience. My inaugural and most cherished position was as a MORA Content Creator with the central marketing team at Imperial. Being compensated to generate content for a top university felt surreal and had a remarkably positive impact on my year.<\/p>\n

Becoming a MORA Content Creator<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Collaborating with the MORA team to craft content for over 700,000 followers across Imperial\u2019s social media platforms was a dream come true. It involved narrating stories and showcasing student life, grasping institutional communication, and understanding the tone and authenticity that appeals to varied audiences.<\/p>\n

This position brought unexpected chances, such as interviewing notable figures like Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty. None of this would have been possible without agreeing to that initial opportunity. The MORA team is supportive, encouraging, and fosters creative experimentation. Most part-time employers prioritize reliability, initiative, and friendliness over mere experience.<\/p>\n

Managing work alongside classes demands careful planning. I arranged my shifts when my academic load was lighter. Always remember, your degree comes first, but a well-suited part-time job can enhance your education. My marketing coursework felt more significant when I applied it in real job scenarios.<\/p>\n

Throughout my Master\u2019s, I ventured into various jobs like waiting tables, event management, barista work, and bartending. Each position imparted distinct lessons.
