To steer clear of costly hotel prices, arrange your lodging promptly. I had luck on my side, but not everyone experiences the same, as the best choices are snapped up quickly. Strive to locate a residence close to your campus or a dependable Tube line, as lengthy commutes can prove tough for early morning classes.<\/p>\n

Even if you\u2019re timid, make an effort to take part. I forged some of my closest friendships during campus tours and society activities. Your initial week lays the groundwork for your university experience.<\/p>\n
During my first week, I had difficulty understanding the Tube or buses and ended up walking nine kilometers throughout London. It was an unforgettable yet chaotic experience. Secure your Student Oyster card and apply for the 18+ discount for more affordable Tube and bus fares.<\/p>\n
Walking remains an excellent way to appreciate the city and uncover hidden treasures.<\/p>\n
London can be emotionally intense, particularly at the outset. Finding a comforting place is beneficial \u2013 for me, it\u2019s the park close to my home. I visit there daily to unwind. My second restful spot is the O2, where I watch films each week.<\/p>\n
Discover your own comforting areas, like a cafe, bookstore, or riverside bench, to relax and recharge.<\/p>\n
Familiarize yourself with the areas you frequent around campus and your residence. Locate nearby supermarkets, pharmacies, parks, and your favorite food or coffee venues.<\/p>\n
