It was hectic yet unforgettable \u2013 don\u2019t replicate my experience. Acquire your Student Oyster card and apply for the 18+ discount to travel affordably on the Tube and buses.<\/p>\n<p>Walking remains the best way to immerse yourself in the city and its culture. These places can be more invaluable than you might think.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Discover the city<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Familiarize yourself with your new surroundings near campus and home. Identify your nearest supermarket, pharmacy, parks, and favorite eateries or coffee shops.<\/p>\n<p>Visit well-known landmarks, explore complimentary museums, ride a classic red double-decker bus, and meander without a specific plan.
