Regardless of whether you arrive weeks ahead or just before classes start, here\u2019s the guidance I wish someone had provided to me.<\/p>\n

Steer clear of expensive hotel stays by arranging accommodation in advance. I was lucky, but that’s not the case for everyone. Try to reside near the campus or a dependable Tube line to prevent lengthy commutes to morning lectures.<\/p>\n

Even if you’re reserved, take part; I discovered close friends during campus tours and society stalls. This week establishes the foundation for your university experience.<\/p>\n

    At first, I walked nine kilometers across London because I was confused about the Tube and buses. Prevent this by acquiring a Student Oyster card and applying for the 18+ discount for more affordable travel. Nevertheless, walking remains a fantastic way to uncover hidden gems in the city.<\/p>\n

    Discover Your Relaxation Spots<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    London can be intense. Having a go-to spot is beneficial; mine is a nearby park where I relax every day. The O2, only 10 minutes away, is another preferred location for movies and downtime. Identify your own places, be it a coffee shop, bookstore, or riverside bench, to unwind and refresh.<\/p>\n

    Get to know the neighborhoods surrounding your campus and residence. Identify your nearest grocery store, pharmacy, parks, and favorite eateries or caf\u00e9s. Explore iconic landmarks, free museums, and enjoy the view from a red double-decker bus. Some of your most cherished memories will come from wandering without a set plan.<\/p>\n
