Stepping into London for the first time was quite a lot to handle. The city appeared extensive, noisy, and fast-moving. With only a suitcase and Google Maps, I found myself disoriented. If you’re about to face this, don\u2019t be concerned. Here\u2019s how to adjust to London before commencing at Imperial, allowing you to relish your new urban life.<\/p>\n

    At first, I walked nine kilometers around London due to confusion with public transit. Prevent this by obtaining a Student Oyster card and applying for the 18+ discount for lower travel costs. Walking remains excellent for uncovering hidden treasures.<\/p>\n

    Identify Comfort Zones<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    London can be daunting. Seek a comforting location, such as a park or caf\u00e9, to unwind and recharge. My favorite spots include a local park and the O2 for films.<\/p>\n

    Get to know nearby supermarkets, pharmacies, and go-to eateries. Explore landmarks, museums, and enjoy spontaneous strolls. Some of the finest memories arise from getting slightly lost.<\/p>\n
