Part-time employment connected these two realms for me, aiding in financial management and grasping the UK market, particularly regarding marketing and customer experience. My initial and favorite position was as a MORA Content Creator with Imperial’s central marketing department. It was remarkable to receive compensation for generating content for a prestigious university, positively influencing my year.

These experiences wouldn’t have materialized had I not seized that initial chance. The MORA team is supportive and nurturing, offering a creative environment to experiment. Managing work alongside classes necessitates organization. I arranged shifts during periods when my course load was lighter. Your degree should come first, but a well-selected part-time job can enhance your studies. My marketing assignments felt significantly more relevant when linked to practical employment.
Exploring different part-time jobs
Throughout my Master’s program, I experimented with various roles including waiter, event manager, barista, and bartender. Each role provided unique insights.
