Part-time jobs connected these two realms for me, assisting in financial management and gaining insight into the UK market, particularly concerning marketing and customer experience. My first and most cherished position was as a MORA Content Creator with Imperial’s main marketing department. Getting paid to produce content for a prestigious university felt surreal and had a positive impact on my year.

Collaborating with the MORA team to create content viewed by over 700,000 individuals on Imperial’s social platforms was a fantasy come true. It entailed storytelling and capturing the student experience, learning institutional communication, and grasping the tone and authenticity that resonate with varied audiences.

Managing work alongside classes necessitates preparation. I only took shifts when my class schedule permitted. My marketing coursework felt more significant when I could relate those concepts to practical job experiences.

During my Master’s, I explored a variety of roles such as waiter, event organizer, barista, and bartender. Each position imparted distinct lessons.
