Relocating to London as an international student, you quickly realize how costs such as rent, groceries, transportation, and tuition can pile up. The professional environment also appears different, with novel approaches to working, communicating, and viewing creativity compared to what you’re accustomed to.
Part-time positions helped me navigate these two worlds, aiding in managing finances and grasping the UK market, particularly in marketing and customer experience. My inaugural and most cherished job was as a MORA Content Creator with Imperial’s central marketing squad. Earning for generating content for a prestigious university was unbelievable and greatly influenced my year.

**Balancing work and study**
Balancing employment and classes needs careful planning. I arranged shifts for lighter class days. Your degree should come first, but a strategically chosen part-time role can enhance your studies. My marketing assignments felt more significant when applied in real-life positions.
**Exploring different part-time jobs**
Throughout my Master’s, I explored various roles including waiter, event coordinator, barista, and bartender. Each role imparted valuable lessons.
