For me, part-time positions acted as a link between these two realms, aiding in financial management and gaining insight into the UK market, especially from a marketing and customer experience standpoint. My first and most cherished position was as a MORA Content Creator with Imperial’s main marketing group. Being compensated to generate content for a prestigious university felt surreal, and the experience significantly enhanced my entire year.

Most part-time employers value reliability, initiative, and a friendly demeanor over mere experience.
**Balancing work and study**
Managing work alongside classes necessitates careful planning. I arranged shifts when my academic load was lighter. Your degree should remain the primary focus, but a well-selected part-time role can enhance your educational experience. For example, my marketing classes became more relevant when I applied those theories in actual jobs.

Throughout my Master’s, I experimented with various roles, including waiter, event manager, barista, and bartender. Each position imparted unique lessons.
