Luckily, South Kensington presents a range of off-campus study locations, such as cafés, museums, libraries, and outdoor spaces. Here are my favorite selections within walking distance of the campus.
1. Cafés – versatile, cozy, and perfect for daily studying
South Kensington hosts an abundance of cafés that are ideal for relaxed study sessions, group talks, or working on laptops. Favored by Imperial students are Starbucks, Pret a Manger (there’s one right at the main entrance on campus!), Filo Coffee, EL&N, and the V&A Museum’s Main Café, Garden Café, and Patisserie, which are just across the street from campus.
These cafés generally feature:

- A selection of beverages and snacks
- Longer operating hours
