I reflected on my work in data visualization, interest in media and AI, and leadership experience. I connected these specifically to each question, avoiding vague statements. Instead of merely saying ‘I am passionate about data,’ I emphasized particular projects and how they shaped my interests and objectives.
Being genuine and expressive is vital, but refrain from being excessively detailed. Overly polished or generic responses contribute little value. This blend showcased both enthusiasm and academic strengths. Select referees aligned with your experiences and priorities.
I discussed my goals and course details with both referees before including them in my application, facilitating a smoother process. Typically, Imperial sends referees a private link for submitting references, but confirm the requirements for referees and ensure they use a professional email and understand the timeline.
