Documenting everything I accomplished during my undergraduate studies was beneficial. I reflected on my data visualization projects, media and AI interests, and leadership roles. I connected these experiences to each question, steering clear of clichéd statements. Instead of declaring ‘I am passionate about data,’ I emphasized specific projects and their impact on my interests and ambitions.
Being genuine and true to yourself is vital, but refrain from excessive elaboration. Polished or clichéd responses contribute little value. I recorded my experiences, insights, and errors, then refined my draft over time. Requesting someone you trust to review your statement can provide new perspectives.
