Aside from technical competencies, I was drawn to the academic realm’s research liberty and innovativeness. My enthusiasm for science flourishes when I engage with subjects I cherish, so I opted for a PhD project that sincerely captivated me. Having the autonomy to steer my project is a substantial benefit and one of my preferred elements of undertaking a PhD.
